It is time for you to share the story of the life, death, and resurrection of Christ with your friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers this month.
Secular humanists have relegated Easter to a ho-hum, back-page story. And when it does get front-page news, it is surrounded not by joy and hope, but by skepticism and revisionism. The empty tomb has lost its luster in recent years. Community Easter pageants, once a common occurrence, are now rather rare. A whole generation is growing up who know next to nothing about the greatest story ever told. And therefore, many people have only heard distortions and half-truths concerning this monumental, life-altering event. It is time for the Truth Tellers, the Light Bearers to tell the age-old story with new vigor.
Almighty God became a man and lived among us 2000 years ago. He came giving a message of hope and the promise of eternal life to all who would believe in Him—and we killed him! We nailed his hands and feet to a wooden cross, thrust a spear in His side and waited for Him to die—and He did! With self-centered pride, we rejected Him and His message of hope beyond the grave!
Humanity treated God’s Son with contempt, ridicule, torture, and a painful death. Then the seemingly impossible happened—Easter came! Miraculously, Jesus Christ, certified dead by a Roman executioner, after three days became fully and totally alive again! He told those who crucified Him, those responsible for His death, that He, as God’s Son, would forgive their sins, and give them life after death if they would place their trust in Him.
It is simply the most profound message anyone could ever hear—if they would but listen. But how can they listen if we do not tell them. The fact is, they may never know, unless we make the bold but loving step to share the story of the Man from Galilee. Find people you know, and people you don’t know, this month—ask them if they have ever really heard the true story about who Jesus is and why He came. If they have not, tell them—you know it! Whether they have heard the story or not, tell them what it all means to you!
Everybody loves a good story—Satan does not want the best one of all to be told! So tell it!

Postscript:
You demonstrate to a watching world that receiving Christ as Savior actually produces a new life. It is when the story of Jesus Christ flows from the lips of a transformed life that the Gospel is most effective.
